Don't get too excited...

Clara Lark Can't Die is my current WIP, where I'm finishing up and editing what is my most fun journey yet. A younger YA urban fantasy, inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where our stubborn protagonist discovers she is fated to die when she turns 18. But, until then... She's unkillable.

There will be five books in this series, the structure loosely following the five stages of grief. Which makes this first book focus on the themes of denial. Something we're all probably pretty familiar with.

While we're not ready to start promoting or querying, I can share some snippets of what I love so far, along with the first chapter. (Click here for access). Today, we're going through mood boards for our three leading ladies, along with some art for them. Buckle your seat belts, a surprising amount of angst is coming.
